3 1/2 months old

In the wonderful world of Emily Grace- she was looking out the window last week while it was snowing and said FUZZY which of course is one of her most favorite things in the world so she was very excited! She is getting so big and changing in so many ways! Her vocab has increased and she is finally saying "yea" for yes instead of always hearing no! Nice change! Since she had her birthday right after Christmas she is constantly thinking that every present is "Emily's" and we have to remind her over and over that no it is not for her! Today Aleisha was pleasantly taken by surprise (straight up sarcasm!). She got up and had her shower, then got Noah dressed and after feeding him took him out to his play mat so that she could get Emily Grace ready for the day. Just outside Em's door she got a whiff of something just not right. She thought OK, prepare myself for a nasty diaper....oh was she SO not prepared for what happened next! Aleisha opens the door and finds Em sitting on her floor and then she stands up excited to see mommy...then she sees it...Em had tried to change her own diaper because she had a poopy. BUT it is hard for a 2 year old to do while wearing a onesie. The diaper was open there was poop up Em's arm...mind you this is the child that freaks if she gets dirt on her hands SO she had wiped her hands across the sheets to try and get it off, unsuccessfully and you can follow the trail of each step she had taken. Aleisha called Paul at work and told him she needed back up as at this point Noah was crying from the other room and she didn't even know where to begin! One nasty bath, 2 loads of laundry, a scrubbed floor and 1/2 a bottle of Clorox anywhere cleaner later and the mess was resolved! So although Em calls her grandpa Cameron poop poop it gave it a whole new meaning today!

Today was Noah's 4 month appointment. Can you believe that he will be 4 months this Friday?! He is getting so big! Rolling over, smiling and laughing like crazy. He is trying to sit up and he is ready for his first haircut! It will be happening here in a few weeks as it is out of control! He looks great at his appointment and is now 15 lbs 4 oz which is the 55% for weight. Totally average. He is 25.5" long (75%) and his head is definitely daddies in the 90%!! He woke up screaming on Saturday night, something we have never experienced. As soon as Aleisha held him he was fine. He is not sleeping as well as he was, which doc says is totally normal...great! We are so tired, but he is such a mellow happy go lucky guy! He cried for 20 minutes after his shots today, poor little man! He now likes to grab mommys face with his hands and give lots of kisses!

Paul had a haircut by Aleisha! Needless to say it is short, but she likes it! All is well, just working as always. Nothing too exciting! He did win for the Super Bowl squares at work!

Aleisha is exhausted from the kiddos and Paul and Janice dragging her behind to the gym each week! She has a long busy week ahead with Sherwood Moms Club for the kiddos lots of fun events and has been re-painting our kitchen! She finally caved and got a face book page after everyone and their brother has been bugging her about getting one! Paul made fun of her, although he secretly wants one himself!

We are putting together a special Valentines Day package for our soldier. If anyone would like to be involved please let us know! We are very excited as we are starting have things trickle in! Thank you to all those that have gotten involved! It is very cool!
