WOW What an Eventful 2008!!

Emily Grace turned 1 January 6th. Just a few weeks later we were very excited to find out we were pregnant once again! Em had her "big" appointment with Dr. Achterman (her Surgeon at Legacy Emmanuel) in March and we got word it looked as though her bowed tibia may be healing itself. Something in his 26 years he has never seen happen that fast in such a short time before! We were thrilled with this news and had our fingers crossed all we would be "dealing" with in the future was the shortness of her leg. In August we celebrated our 3rd wedding anniversary by having our first over-nighter away from Emily Grace and relaxing with massages and good food (skipped the wine...and went straight to desserts!) We had a scare on September 6th when I was admitted for gushing of blood and we had to stay overnight to watch and make sure we were ok with our pregnancy! On October 6th (Uncle Sean's bday) we were very blessed and overjoyed to welcome Noah Christopher into our lives. What a blessing that boy truly is! November we celebrated our first Thanksgiving as a family of four at home with Aleisha's parents and Grandma Sharon. We all came down with horrible colds in which we "quarantined" ourselves inside for a week and a 1/2 and THEN the big Storm of 2008 hit and we were snowed in for another week and a 1/2 (18" of snow at our house! the car was buried!). We quickly threw together an impromptu Christmas dinner and enjoyed our very first Christmas at home with just the four of us! So much fun! Snowman pancakes and PJ's all day! That same day Paul turned the big "30"!! Such an old man! HA! We ended the new year with a party during the day with the kiddos and friends and then were in bed by 10 p.m.! HAPPY NEW YEAR!
